Local old-time band the Carolina Chocolate Drops are still out causing a ruckus with their latest album Leaving Eden and the band recently recorded a Concrete Country session for CMT.The band performed the songs "Was You Ever in Quebec," "Cindy Gal," "Country Girl" and "Baby Ain't Sweet Like Mine" for the country network's roots web series. The Carolina Chocolate Drops will perform at the Meymandi Concert Hall in downtown Raleigh on Friday, September 21. Tickets are on sale now via the Progress Energy Center box office and Ticketmaster.
