Bob Mould releasing 'Silver Age' in September

Back in March, Merge Records announced that they had signed rock icon Bob Mould who would release a new album in the fall. Now, the details of the album are available.

The new album is titled Silver Age and will be out on September 4. It features ten new songs which, according to Merge, are "punishingly loud, melodically sparkling pop/rock vein of the Sugar catalog." Check out the track list below.

Also, as we told you about a few weeks ago, Merge will reissue the entire Sugar catalog on July 24.

Mould will hit the road this fall in support of the new album but there is not Triangle date on the schedule yet. We have our fingers crossed that he'll add one soon. Check out the current tour schedule below.
