Metallica announce fall dates, play Charlotte

The masters of metal Metallica have announced a string of new North American dates from September to December. The tour doesn't stop in the Triangle, but does include a date in Charlotte at the Bobcats Arena (Time Warner Cable Arena) on October 18. Tickets for the show will go on sale on April 4. The brand new Guitar Hero Metallica video game will be released on Sunday, March 29 Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3. The Playstation 2 version of the game will be out on April 14.

Metallica's latest album Death Magnetic is out now.
