Bombadil to release new album in July

Local boys on the rise Bombadil have released some details of their new album titled Tarpits and Canyonlands. Ramseur Records, who released the group's last album A Buzz, A Buzz, will release the new album on July 7.

Along with the announcement of the new album, the band have launched a beautifully designed new website and will add content to it including a documentary on the making of the new album in the coming weeks. The band's MySpace page has also been overhauled with a fresh new look based around the new album's art.

Bombadil have a few dates lined-up in the coming months including a big show at the Lincoln Theatre on April 10. Benji Hughes and the fantastic Lost in the Trees will open the show. Tickets are available for only $8 via etix.com. Check out the rest of the band's dates below.
