The band are at their best when they're grooving like on the tracks "Tabloid Lover" and "Blood For Wild Blood." Lead singer Johnny Bornell tries to carry many of the slower, ballad-esque songs like "Go Thompson" and "The House but he just can't pull it off. Slipaway Fires will be released in the US on Tuesday, March 10 via Mercury Records.
