Stream the new Rosebuds album, upcoming shows

The Rosebuds new album Life Life isn't due out until October 7, but you can stream it in it's entirety now on Merge Records website. So go check it out and let us know what you think.

Also, though we have no details yet, The Rosebuds will be playing at the Carolina Theatre in Durham on October 7 as part of the Troika Festival. We'll let you know when we know more.

Ivan of The Rosebuds will play a solo set at the Love House on UNC's campus on September 25. The Love House is at 410 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill. He will also being playing with Portastatic Friday night, September 12 at Local 506. Mac's Portastatic blog says that Ivan will be playing multiple instruments during the set. It should be a fun show.

Kelly is currently pursuing comedy during The Rosebuds off time. She will perform a comedy set at the Cat's Cradle Friday night, September 12 at Lost in the Trees' album release show. [UPDATE SEP. 12: It's a little late, but Kelly's name has disappeared from the Cat's Cradle's listing for tonight's show. I'm not sure what happened.]

So Friday night is Kelly vs. Ivan. Let's get ready to rumble!
