Butch Walker to release 'Sycamore Meadows,' tour

After postponing his one-man band tour a few months ago to finish his new album, Butch Walker has now completed said album and it's titled Sycamore Meadows. That's the album art to the right.

The album will be out on November 11 and will be self-released by Walker. The album features 12 new tracks including the song "Ships in a Bottle" which is about the fire which destroyed Walker's home in L.A. earlier this year (he was renting the home from Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers). Watch the video for that song below which features Walker in the rubble of his home.

Sycamore Meadows track list:
1. The Weight of Her
2. Going Back/Going Home
3. Here comes the...
4. Ponce De Leon Ave.
5. Ships in a Bottle
6. Vessels
7. Passed your place, Saw Your Car, Thought of You
8. The 3 kids in brooklyn
9. Summer Scarves
10. A Song for the Metalheads
11. Closer to the truth and Further from the Sky
12. ATL

Download the pre-release tracks "The Weight of Her" and "Ships in a Bottle" via iTunes by clicking the song titles. Also available on iTunes is a 3-song EP from Walker's set a Lollapalooza this year. Download that here.

Butch will hit the road for a short tour in November to promote the new album. Oh, and there's an October date thrown in there too. Unfortunately, Raleigh is not among the dates.
