Led Zeppelin reunion tour rumors pop up regularly in the music world, but they've gotten more frequent since the band reunited in December for a one-off show in London. Well, it looks like it may actually happen in the summer of 2009.
The report coming out the UK says that Robert Plant has apparently agreed to tour with his old bandmates John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page for a tour next summer. Jason Bohnam, son of the late Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, will join the band on drums as he did in December.
I don't know about you, but I'll be at one of these dates on the tour as long as it's on the East Coast at least no further west than Nashville. Now we just have to wait to see how and if this whole thing pans out.
[I found this thanks to David Menconi's blog.]
[Update Sept. 29: Apparently we've been had again. Read what Robert Plant had to say about the reunion being a non-starter on his website.]
