Superchunk have been busy promoting their new album I Hate Music released last month and they have just released a new music video directed by conceptual artist Taiyo Kimura for the bombastic minute and 15 second track "Staying Home."The video is pretty bizarre and at features the band only in still images that have been animated and manipulated in various ways. At one point a man wearing a Mac McCaughan mask is shown eating curry out of a toilet. Check out the video below to see a minute or so of weirdness.
Superchunk will perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday, September 27, while the band is in New York to play two sold out shows at the Bowery Ballroom.
