The dB's to release 'Falling Off the Sky' in June

The highly anticipated new album from The dB's which we've mentioned for about a year is finally almost ready to see the light of day. The album, titled Falling Off the Sky, will be out on June 12 via Bar/None Records.

The album features the original lineup of Peter Holsapple, Chris Stamey, Gene Holder and Will Rigby and was produced by the band with some help from Mitch Easter and Scott Litt. It is the first dB's album recorded primarily in North Carolina.

The band will start building buzz for the new album at South By Southwest in Austin, TX this week. More touring is expected later this year. We'll keep you posted.
