New music video from Megafaun - "Carolina Days"

Local trio Megafaun have been hard at work on a new album, but stepped back to film a video for the song "Carolina Days" from their mini-album Heretofore, released last September.

In true Megafaun fashion, the video is quirky as hell, featuring their own version of North Carolina history. Joe Westerlund is back as God (you may remember that he dawned Jesus-esque robes for the band's Take Away Show released in April 2010). Watch the "Carolina Days" video below.

Megafaun are playing a sold out show at the Cat's Cradle on Friday, April 8 opening for The Mountain Goats. Also, Phil Cook's new solo album Hungry Mother Blues will be out on May 10 via Trekky Records. Check out more on the album including a song download HERE.
