From August 21 to August 23, downtown Raleigh will be a buzz with music, theater and art. The event is called Art on the Edge and it will take place in Lichtin Plaza and Fletcher Hall at the Progress Energy Center.
The event will feature local bands The Huguenots, The Cartridge Family, Violet Vector and the Lovely Lovelies and Birds of Avalon on Thursday and "An evening with" The Old Ceremony on Friday. The Old Ceremony's set will feature aerial dancing by Rebecca Drake and Argentine Tango dancing by Tangophilia.
Thursday's music is free in Lichtin Plaza and Friday's is at Fletcher Hall and tickets are $10. There will be other theater and art events going on each day. For more information, check out the Art on the Edge website.
