Art Garfunkel announces 2014 tour, coming to Durham

Legendary singer-songwriter Art Garfunkel is hitting the road this spring/summer on a short U.S. tour that will bring him to the Triangle in June.

Garfunkel will play the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Thursday, June 26. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster for $47 to $77.

Art Garfunkel's latest release is the compilation The Singer that includes songs from his solo releases as well as classic Simon and Garfunkel tunes. Check out a performance of the classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water" that can be found on The Singer from an Atlanta show earlier this year below.
