Corrosion of Conformity announces new album & tour, playing Raleigh

Legendary Raleigh metal band Corrosion of Conformity will release their first new album since 2005's In the Arms of God in February. The new album, simply titled Corrosion of Conformity, will be released on February 28 via Candlelight Records.

The album was recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles, with additional vocal recording taking place in Raleigh. Longtime collaborator John Custer produced and mixed the album with the band.

A tour will commence in March, which will include a big hometown show at the Lincoln Theatre on Saturday, March 3. Torche, Valient Thorr and A Storm of Light will open the show. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $15.
