Neil Young announces southern tour dates, playing Spartanburg

The legendary Neil Young has announced a few solo southern dates in late May and early June, and though he won't be coming to the Triangle, if you're will to drive to Spartanburg, SC, you can see the man in action. He'll play the Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg on Sunday, May 30. Bert Jansch will open all of the shows on the tour.

Tickets for the Spartanburg show will go on sale on Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m. here, though they're not cheap. The price points are $80, $100, $131 and $231.

Young's latest studio album is 2009's Fork in the Road, though his latest release is Dreamin' Man Live '92 released in December. Stream the song "Such a Woman" from the live album below where you'll also find Young's complete tour schedule.

This is the only place I've seen a second show at the Ryman (6/2)

Is that pretty reliable info? (thanks)

Multiple sources including Rolling Stone and Paste have two dates at the Ryman. Look for it to be added to the Ryman's official schedule very soon.
