The official U.S. premiere of The White Stripes new tour documentary titled Under Great White Northern Lights is not until SXSW next month, but the film will be screening early right here in the Triangle. The screening is tomorrow night, Sunday, Feb. 28 at Duke Coffeehouse in Durham. It is free and starts at 7 p.m. One lucky attendee will also win a deluxe edition of the Under Great White Northern Lights, currently selling for $206.99 on Amazon.
The film documents the band's Canadian tour in the summer of 2007. The live album and film will be released on March 16 in a variety of formats including vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-ray. Check out the trailer below.
