British singer-songwriter Tracey Thorn, who is also one half of the duo Everything But the Girl, has signed with with Merge Records to release her third solo album titled Love and Its Opposite. The album will feature guest appearances by Jens Lekman, Al Doyle of Hot Chip and others. Lekman joins Thorn on a duet of Lee Hazlewood's "Come On Home To Me."Love and Its Opposite will be released on May 18, but you can download the song "Oh the Divorces!" from the album right now below.
Thorn will no be touring in support of the album according to her website, but she will be filming some live performances for the web. We'll bring you some of those once they're available.
