Lost in the Trees announce indefinite touring hiatus, farewell show

Lost in the Trees have been staples of the Triangle music scene for the last seven years but following one more big Triangle show in December the band is going on an indefinite hiatus. Songwriter and frontman Ari Picker posted on Facebook that he plans to continue writing and releasing music but wants to "move away from touring for the time being."

The band will play one final show at the Haw River Ballroom in Saxaphaw on Friday, December 12. They plan to play songs from all of their albums and will have special guests there to play with them. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 12, via Ticketfly for $15.

Check out photos and a write-up my first time seeing Lost in the Trees at Schoolkids Records in Raleigh in 2008 HERE. The band's latest album Past Life was released earlier this year.
