This summer the the Durham Bulls Athletic Park will play host to the 2014 Triple-A All-Star game on on July 16, but the festivities will kick-off on Saturday, July 12, with the All-Star Fan Fest and Block Party.
The Fan Fest will take place at the park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but we're interested in the Block Party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Block Party will happen just outside the park on Blackwell Street and it will feature a set by The Baseball Project, which features Peter Buck and Mike Mills of R.E.M., Scott McCaughey and Steve Wynn of The Dream Syndicate.
