Roman Candle prep new album, EP and tour

Roman Candle are gearing up for a busy 2009. They have been working on a new album Oh Tall Tree in the Ear in Nashville with Jason Lehning. Lehning has worked with Thad Cockrell, Guster and Emerson Heart among many others. The band plan to have the album mixed by Christmas and out in March via Carnival Music.

Fans won't have to wait that long for new music though. Roman Candle are working on an EP at home that they plan to release in early December. They will launch a national tour in January to support the release.

For the latest Roman Candle updates, check out the band's Twitter feed. Roman Candle drummer Logan Matheny is currently playing shows with The Rosebuds, filling in for regular drummer Matt McCaughan.
