Frankly, I'm sick of talking about Taylor Hicks. So in news about shows that will actually be happening...The Maccabees are no longer opening for Bloc Party this Saturday, June 2, at Millennium Center in Winston-Salem. Annuals took their place to share opening duties with Noisettes.
Tickets to the show are $28 and available through Etix.

that's a surprise. do you know when they made the switch? i was really looking for to the maccabees.
We just got an email from the event promoter this afternoon to let us know of the change. Sorry you were looking forward to The Maccabees, it's always a letdown when stuff like this happens at the last minute.
Ah I see, thanks though. It's better to know than not know at all. Visa issues just seem to be plaguing British bands lately.
