Since the Vans Warped Tour is skipping Raleigh this year, the closest thing to it will be the newly announced Projekt Revolution Tour.The tour will feature two stages. The main stage performers will be Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM and Julien-K. The smaller stage, dubbed "The Revolution Stage," will feature Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles of Beyond and Madina Lake.
The Projekt Revolution Tour will stop at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre on Monday, August 13 as well as Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte on Wednesday, August 8.
We don't have ticket information right now, but tickets should be available soon via Ticketmaster. Fore more information on the tour, check out projektrevolution.com.

Hi, I have a question, maybe you can help me with your amazing knowledge! I really need to get good seats (under the awning thing) for this concert. What is the best way to purchase tickets the day they go on sale--phone,ticketmaster on the internet, ticketmaster in person, etc.? I am taking my daughers, 11 & 13 and the little one cannot be out in the sun. Thanks for helping!
Sunscreen is a good thing! Even if you get under an awning, your daughters will probably want to get out in the sun for awhile anyway.
I have a question: Do you know how long the shows will run? I am taking my daughter to the Auburn, WA show. It starts at 12:45PM, but we are flying over from Boise and I want to know if we will be able to fly over and back the same day. (The latest I can get a flight is 7:55 pm from Seattle.)
