The Jealous sound announces new album & winter tour, coming to Chapel Hill

Los Angeles rock band The Jealous Sound are gearing up to release their first new album since 2003's Kill Them With Kindess. The album, A Gentle Reminder, will be out on January 31.

A tour will follow the release which will bring the band to Local 506 in Chapel Hill on Friday, February 10. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $8.

Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel is featured on the album and has played with the band in the past, but it is unclear if he'll be joining them on tour.
