Los Angeles rock band The Jealous Sound are gearing up to release their first new album since 2003's Kill Them With Kindess. The album, A Gentle Reminder, will be out on January 31.A tour will follow the release which will bring the band to Local 506 in Chapel Hill on Friday, February 10. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $8.
Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel is featured on the album and has played with the band in the past, but it is unclear if he'll be joining them on tour.
