Eric Church, Willie Nelson, The Roots, Modest Mouse, Sheryl Crow & more playing new Raleigh festival

The Triangle is getting another big festival to add to the calendar along with the Hopscotch Music Festival, World of Bluegrass festivites, and Moogfest coming next year.

This fall the first American Roots Music & Arts Festival will come to Walnut Creek Amphitheater on October 17 and 18 featuring an eclectic lineup. Country superstar and North Carolina native Eric Church will headline both nights and the rest of the lineup includes Willie Nelson, The Roots, Modest Mouse, Sheryl Crow, Warren Haynes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Grace Potter, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Chris Stapleton, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and Greensky Bluegrass. More performers will be announced later.

Sheryl Crow announces 2013 tour, coming to Durham

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow just released a new laid back single today titled "Easy" and she also has announced some new tour dates which include a stop in the Triangle.

Crow will play the Durham Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 3. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster.

North Carolina guitarist Audley Freed is currently a part of Crow's band and can be seen performing "Easy" with her on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow announce summer tour, coming to Raleigh

Detroit rap-rocker turned rocker-country star Kid Rock is hitting the road this summer and is taking songstress Sheryl Crow along for the ride. The two collaborated on Rock's song "Picture" from his 2001 album Cocky and the song "Collide" from his 2010 album Born Free (the song also features Bob Seger on piano).

The tour will come to the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh on Thursday, August 25. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. via the usual sources. Prices will be $25 to $250 ($40 to $282 once you add fees).

The duo also performed the song "Care" at John Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear in Washington last year with The Roots as the backing band. Sheryl Crow announces summer tour, coming to Cary

Seasoned folkpop songwriter Sheryl Crow is gearing up to release her seventh full-length album titled 100 Miles To Memphis on July. She will precede and follow-up the release with a series of tour dates that will bring her to Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 15. As of now, it's her only show in the Carolinas. Colbie Callait will open the show.

Tickets for the show will go on sale here on Friday, April 16 at 10 a.m. for $39.50 (lawn) and $59.50 (reserved). A presale will begin on Wednesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. here with the password favorite.
