Rush announces 40th anniversary tour, coming to Greensboro

Even though last year was the official 40th anniversary of when drummer Neil Pert joined Rush in 1974, the band chose to wait until 2015 to celebrate the milestone with a big North American tour. They will be playing music from their entire 40-year catalog and have also stated that this could be their last big tour.

The band will play the Greensboro Coliseum on Tuesday, May 28. The on sale date is has yet to be announced but tickets will be $46 to $126. The entire tour is expected to go on sale on Friday, January 30.

Rush extends 'Clockwork Angels' tour, coming to Raleigh

Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Rush have extended their 2013 Clockwork Angels Tour, the name of their latest album released last year, and it now includes a stop in the Triangle.

The band will play the PNC Arena in Raleigh on Friday, May 3. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster for $46, $66, $86 or $116.

Rush extend Time Machine Tour into spring, coming to Greensboro

The frantic, sometimes otherworldly trio Rush are continuing their successful Time Machine tour into 2011 and will be making a stop in the Triad (which has been grabbing quite a few big shows lately).

The second stop on the new leg of the tour will be at the Greensboro Coliseum on Friday, April 1 (see UPDATE below). Tickets for the show will go on sale on Saturday, December 11 at 10 a.m. via the box office and Ticketmaster.

[UPDATE: The Greensboro show has been pushed back to Saturday, April 2 due to "unforeseen circumstances." All tickets will be honored for the new date, but refunds are available at the point of purchase for those who want one.]
