Rhett Miller announces spring tour, coming to Carrboro

Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller is heading out on the road to play some solo shows this spring and he'll be making his way to a smaller room in the Triangle than the band's normal stop.

Miller will play the Cat's Cradle Back Room on Saturday, April 5. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $15.

Old 97's announces 'Too Far to Care' anniversary tour

Alt-country mainstays the Old 97's are hitting the road again this year and will be celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of their 1997 album Too Far to Care. They will play the album in its entirety at each show and will then play a second set of hits and other tunes.

The band will return to the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Saturday, October 27. Salim Nourallah will open and Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller will also play an acoustic solo set to begin the show. Tickets are available now via Etix for $20.

Rhett Miller announces spring tour, coming to Carrboro

The Old 97's were just in Carrboro at the Cat's Cradle in January and now frontman Rhett Miller is planning to make his way back to play a much more intimate venue promoting his forthcoming solo album, The Dreamer, out on June 5.

Miller will play the ArtsCenter on Thursday, May 17. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 23 via Etix for $16.

Rhett Miller announces solo shows, coming to Raleigh

In the midst of playing some shows the summer with his band The Old 97s, frontman Rhett Miller will be playing some solo shows. One of the few stops so far on the solo tour is The Pour House in Raleigh. He'll play the club on Saturday, June 5. Ticket info is not yet available, but we'll keep you posted.

[UPDATE May 6: Tickets info is finally available. They are $15 in advance and available here now. The Balsa Gliders and Johnny Orr will open the show.]

Miller's latest album is his 2009 self-titled release. Check out a solo acoustic performance of "I Need To Know Where I Stand" below as well as the current tour schedule.
