Lil Wayne announces America's Most Wanted Tour

After being hospitalized with seizures earlier this month and some media outlets reporting that he was on the verge of death, which the rapper rebutted with Tweets, Lil Wayne has announced a big summer tour dubbed the America's Most Wanted Tour.

He'll return to the Time Warner Cable Pavilion in Raleigh on Saturday, July 27. T.I. and Future will open. Ticket info is not available yet but we'll let you know when we know.

Wayne released his new album, I Am Not A Human Being II, today, March 26. Check out the music video for "Love Me" from the album featuring Drake below.

Lil Wayne extends 'I Am Still Music' Tour, coming to Raleigh

Superstar rapper Lil Wayne has extended his 2011 tour, amusingly dubbed the I Am Still Music Tour, into the summer. On the new leg of the tour, he'll bring Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Far East Movement and Lloyd along to open the shows.

The tour will come to the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Friday, July 29 (a popular date as Bon Iver will be at the other amphitheater the same day). Ticket info for the show is not available yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Wayne's new album Tha Carter IV will be released on June 21, which features the single "6 Foot 7 Foot." Check out the video for the song below.

Mike Posner announces spring dates, coming to Carrboro

Duke University graduate and rising star Mike Posner is hitting the road this spring is support of his debut album 31 Minutes To Takeoff, which has already spawned two hit singles, "Cooler Than Me" and "Please Don't Go."

He'll come back to the Triangle on Sunday, April 17 to play Disco Rodeo in Raleigh. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, March 5 via etix for $15.

[UPDATE: The show has been moved to the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro. All tickets for the original venue will be honored. The show merged with another Cradle show, so the full lineup is now Mike Posner, Kelley James, ELLA RIOT (formerly My Dear Disco) and K.O. Kid.]

Lil Wayne announces spring tour with Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross & Travis Barker

Lil Wayne has been out of prison since early November and has been staying in the public eye, releasing a hit single called "6 Foot 7 Foot" and appearing on Saturday Night Live with Eminem. Now he's gearing up for a new tour dubbed "I Am Music II" with an army of opening talent including Nicki Minaj Rick Ross and Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike.

The tour will come to the Greensboro Coliseum on Friday, April 8. Ticket info for the show is not available yet, but we'll keep you posted.

[UPDATE: Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Prices are still not available.]

The best 2009 Grammy performances

Here's a round-up of videos from last night's Grammy Awards for those who missed it or just didn't care to sit through the three and a half hour show. These are what I consider the best performances from last night. Radiohead doing "15 Step" with the USC marching band is quite awesome. Some of the videos are not the greatest, but the internet police are trolling YouTube removing some of the better videos. With that said, enjoy.
