The Queen of Country Music herself, Mrs. Dolly Parton is preparing to release a new album titled Better Day this year (a date hasn't been announced) and will be hitting the road on a worldwide tour, appropriately called the Better Day World Tour.The tour will come to the Durham Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, August 2. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 1 starting at $65.
Parton will debut the first single from the new album, "Together You & I" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 26. In the meantime, check out a classic 1974 television performance of her hit song "Jolene" below.
