Mötley Crüe announces last leg of 'The Final Tour,' coming to Raleigh

When rockers Mötley Crüe announced last year's "The Final Tour" and made a big deal about dissolving the band once the tour ended in November, it seemed like they might actually be done. But the band has now announced another "final" leg of The Final Tour for this summer and fall, bringing Alice Cooper back along for the ride.

The pair will stop at the PNC Arena in Raleigh on Friday, August 28. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster for $20 to $99.50. The fan club pre-sales have already started.

Mötley Crüe announces The Final Tour with Alice Cooper

Glam metal rockers Mötley Crüe are heading out on The Final Tour this summer/fall and they've promised never to reunite again after the tour ends. They won't be stopping in the Triangle so if you want to see the band before they call it quits you'll have to head to the Triad.

The band will play the Greensboro Coliseum on Wednesday, October 22. Alice Cooper will open. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, via Ticketmaster for $20 to $99. Various pre-sales have already gone live.

Alice Cooper announces 2012 tour, coming to Raleigh

Theatrical rocker Alice Cooper is heading out on tour in 2012 in support of his new album Welcome 2 My Nightmare, a sequel to 1975's Welcome to My Nightmare.

The tour will bring the band back to the Triangle to play the Raleigh Amphitheater on Friday, June 22. Venrez will open. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 20 via the Progress Energy Center box office and the big online ticket outlets for $22 to $42.

Alice Cooper played the Durham Performing Arts Center on the Theatre of Death Tour in 2009. Check out the performance of "School's Out" from that show below.

Alice Cooper is bringing 'Theatre of Death' to Durham

The godfather of theatrical shock rock, the one and only Alice Cooper, has announced new dates for his "Theatre of Death" tour which includes a stop in Durham. The theatrical event that will see Alice killed in four different acts will come to the Durham Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, September 30. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, August 21 at 10 AM for $22.50-$47.50 here.

It should be a really entertaining show which will both open and close with Cooper's hit song "School's Out." Check out more info on the tour on Cooper's blog which includes a interesting check list for the show including a "New microphone stand impaler." Good times.
