Esperanza Spalding announces spring tour, coming to Durham

Esperanza Spalding, winner of the 2011 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, is gearing up for a new album release and has scheduled a spring tour that will bring her to the Triangle.

Spalding will play Durham's Carolina Theatre on Wednesday, May 9. Tickets range from $42-67 and will go on sale Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. via the venue box office and Ticketmaster.

Her new album, Radio Music Society, will be released on March 20. Check out Spalding's video for "Black Gold" and a list of tour dates below.
