Imagine Dragons extends spring tour, coming to Raleigh

After a big 2012 and selling out most of the shows on their early 2013 tour, Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons have added new North American dates in late spring that will bring the band to the Triangle.

The band will play the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh on Wednesday, May 8. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, via Ticketmaster for $22.50 to $39.50.

Check out the music video for the "Radioactive" from the band's debut album Night Visions below. The video features actors Lou Diamond Phillips and Alexandra Daddario as well as puppets from the Puppet heap Studio.

Their website says they will be in Spain during this time. I'm confused.

The band have postponed a few of their European shows (including the Spain show you mentioned) to make time in their schedule for the new U.S. dates (including Raleigh). They've updated their official Facebook page to reflect the change but haven't updated their website yet.

Red Hat Amphitheater has a capacity of about 5,500 and the club they were scheduled to play in Spain has a capacity of about 350. I think they made the right choice in coming back to the states.
