The Walkmen announce winter dates, coming to Carrboro

New York rockers The Walkmen are gearing up for a new run of southern tour dates in 2011 in support of their latest album Lisbon, released in September.

The band's the first date of the new year will be at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Wednesday, January 12. Lower Dens will open the show. Tickets are on sale now via etix for $15.

It's been a while since The Walkmen played the Triangle. They were last in the area opening for Kings of Leon at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in April 2009.
