New music from Butterflies - "Goodbye (Like a Stranger)"

Chapel Hill quartet Butterflies are gearing up for the release of their new album Residual Child, which will be out on Nov. 23 via Trekky Records. Ahead of the release, download the jangle pop tune "Goodbye (Like a Stranger)" from the album below.

The band will celebrate the release of their new album with a big release show at the Cat's Cradle on Saturday, Nov. 20 with The Strugglers, Erie Choir and Cassis Orange. Ticket info for the show is not available yet, but they'll be available via etix.

If you can't wait to see Butterflies, they'll be playing Local 506 on Friday, Oct. 22 with North Elementary and Honored Guests. Tickets for the show are $6 and available now via etix.
