Durham's own Hammer No More the Finger will cross the pond in February to take the United Kingdom by storm. The band will play 11 shows in 11 days to promote their album Looking For Bruce which is being released by UK label Inhaler Records on February 1, 2010. It's a big move for the band. When asked about the tour, bassist Duncan Webster said "we've always wanted to do this. I think everyone has. This is what you dream about when you're in a band - getting on a plane and touring the world." Check out the dates below.
The band still has a few dates left in the states before the end of the year including a show in Raleigh at Tir Na Nog on Thursday, December 12 for WKNC's Local Beer Local Band series. As always, the show is free.
The guys are also playing a New Year's Eve show in Durham at Broad Street Cafe with The Beast. The cover for the show is $8 at the door.
Looking For Bruce was released by Churchkey Records in the United States in April.
