The Big Shindig returns with Weezer, Foster the People, Fitz & the Tantrums, more

After seeming to have gone extinct more than ten years ago, G105's old annual concert at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, The Big Shindig, has been given new life by the relatively young local radio station 95X.

The show will return to Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Sunday, September 7. The lineup is Weezer, Foster the People, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Pretty Reckless, Bear Hands, Fuel, Foxy Shazam, Iamdynamite, Big Data, Sir Sly and Skratch N' Sniff. Tickets are on sale now via Live Nation for $25 to $75.

Weezer was just in town playing DPAC and also just announced a new album, their first in four years and their first produced by The Cars' Ric Ocasek since 2001's Green Album. It's titled Everything Will Be All Right In the End and the band have been posting a series of cryptic YouTube videos on their channel teasing the album. Check out the most recent one below.

Foster the People just released their sophomore album this year titled Supermodel. Check out the music video for "Best Friend" from the album below.
