Arctic Monkeys announce fall tour with Smith Westerns, coming to Raleigh

British rockers Arctic Monkeys just released their fourth album, the suggestively titled Suck It and See, in June, and now are planning a fall tour with up-and-coming indie band Smith Westerns.

The tour will bring the bands to Disco Rodeo in Raleigh on Wednesday, October 12. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15 via etix for $24.

Smith Westerns extend massive tour, coming to Raleigh

Chicago band Smith Westerns are tour relentlessly these days supporting the release of their sophomore album Dye It Blonde. They'll open shows for Wilco and Yeasayer in late spring and played Chapel Hill in January and now they'll return to the Triangle in April.

The band are set to play a special after party for the opening of the Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh on Friday, April 29. The after party is at Kings and tickets are on sale now for $10 via etix.
