Blink 182 & My Chemical Romance announce 2011 tour, coming to Charlotte

Goofy pop punkers Blink 182 are planning to release their first new album since 2003 sometime this summer, but they've already signed on to the 2011 Honda Civic Tour along with alt rockers My Chemical Romance.

Unfortunately, the tour will skip the Triangle, but for fans that are up for a drive, the bands will hit Charlotte's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on September 20 and the Virginia Beach Amphitheater (which is now apparently called Farm Bureau Live) on September 19. Matt & Kim will open both shows. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 10 via the usual places.

Matt & Kim announces 'Sidewalks' tour with The Thermals, coming to Carrboro

The energetic pop duo Matt and Kim are hitting the road again this spring and summer in support of their latest album Sidewalks and they're taking The Thermals out with them.

The bands along with DJ Autobot of Flosstradamus will return to the Cat's Cradle on Thursday, June 2. Tickets for the show are available now via etix for $25 (a bit steeper than the $16 ticket the last time they were here in October 2010).

Matt & Kim announces massive fall tour, coming to Carrboro

Energetic power-pop duo Matt & Kim are planning for a busy, busy fall. The band will follow a summer of festival dates with a huge headline tour that will kick of on September 15 and run through November 6.

The band will stop at the Cat's Cradle on Wednesday, October 20. Tickets for the show go on sale on Wednesday, June 23 here for $16. Opening act(s) have not been announced.

Matt & Kim's latest album is 2009's Grand, but they are working on a new album that is slated to be released this fall.
