The Mountain Goats' mastermind John Darnielle will release his first novel on September 16 titled Wolf in White Van. Daniel Handler, best known for his work under the pen name Lemony Snicket, says the book "moves through the mind like a dark-windowed car through a sleepy neighborhood, quiet, mysterious, menacing, taking you places you will never, never get out of your head."
With that said, The Regulator Bookshop will host a book reading and signing by Darnielle at Motorco Music Hall in Durham on Thursday, September 18. Tickets are available HERE for $5. Each ticket also gets you $5 off the cost of the book.
