Beach House announce new album 'Depression Cherry,' 2015 tour

Dreamy Baltimore pop duo Beach House have just announced that their fifth full-length studio album titled Depression Cherry will be released this summer, on August 28. The band will hit the the road on a North American around the same time and will come to the Triangle in the fall.

Beach House will play the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Thursday, October 8. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 29, via Ticketfly for $26.

Beach House announces spring shows, coming to Carrboro

One of Baltimore's great indie duos, Beach House, will play a few shows this spring and will make a stop in the Triangle.

The band will play the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Saturday, May 5. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, February 22 via Etix for $20.

The band's latest album is the acclaimed Teen Dream, released in 2010, but later that year, they recorded an iTunes session which included a new song titled "White Moon." Stream that song below.

Vampire Weekend & Beach House extend tour, coming to Raleigh

Just when we thought there would be no new announcements for the inaugural season of the Downtown Raleigh Amphitheater, here comes to the coolest show booked at the venue to date.

Indie superstars Vampire Weekend have extended their fall tour with Beach House and will play the venue on Sunday, Oct. 17. Tickets for the show will go on sale here on Friday Aug. 27 for $28.50 or $37.50. Students will be given a $5 discount if they buy tickets at the Progress Energy Center box office and present their student ID (there is a limit of two tickets per ID).

Vampire Weekend's sophomore release Contra was released in January. Check out the video for the excellent song "Giving Up the Gun" from the album below along with the full tour schedule.

Beach House announces spring tour, plays Carrboro

On January 26, Baltimore band Beach House will release their third full-length album titled Teen Dream via Sub Pop Records. A few months after the album's release, the band will hit the road a North American tour which will stop in Carrboro at the Cat's Cradle on Saturday, May 1. South Carolina musician Ernest Greene, better known as Washed Out, will open the show. Tickets will be $12 in advance, but an on sale date isn't available yet. They should be available Tickets are on sale now via etix.com soon though.
