New show announcements: Against Me!, David Bazan, Animal Collective

Here's a new batch of shows making their way to the Triangle in 2016.

First up, rockers Against Me! will play Motorco Music Hall in Durham on Sunday, May 15. My Jerusalem will open. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. today, April 1, via Ticketfly for $18.

Next, singer-songwriter David Bazan will play the Cat's Cradle Back Room in Carrboro on Monday, July 11, in support of his new album Blanco, out May 13. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. today, April 1, via Ticketfly for $15.

Against Me! announce summer tour, coming to Raleigh

Florida punk rockers Against Me! are heading back out on the road this summer in support of their latest album Transgender Dysphoria Blues and it will kick off right here in the Triangle.

The band will play the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on Monday, June 15. Frnkiero and the Cellebration and Annie Girl and the Flight will open. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $18.

Against Me! announces new album, winter tour

Florida punk rockers Against Me! are gearing up for the release of their sixth studio album, the aptly titled Transgender Dysphoria Blues, on January 21. This is the first album from the band since frontwoman Laura Jane Grace (formerly known as Thomas James Gabel) came out as a transgender woman.

The band will hit the road this winter in support of the new album and will play the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Tuesday, January 14. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. today, Friday, December 6 via Ticketfly for $15. The Sidekicks and The Shondes will open.

Against Me! announces 2011 dates, coming to Carrboro

Alternative punk rockers Against Me! are gearing up for a busy 2011 out supporting their latest album White Crosses. In February, the band will hit the road opening for punk superstars Dropkick Murphys, but before that, they'll criss-cross the U.S. on their own.

The third date of the tour will be at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Tuesday, January 18. Cheap Girls and Fences will open the show. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 10 via etix for $12.

Silversun Pickups announce June tour with Against Me!

Hot alternative band Silversun Pickups are hitting the road in June for a with Against Me! and The Henry Clay People. The tour will kick off in Orlando on June 15 and make it's way up the coast to the Disco Rodeo in Raleigh on Sunday, June 20.

Tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday, April 24 at 10 a.m. here for $29.50 plus fees.

Silversun Pickups' latest album is 2009's Swoon. Against Me!'s new album White Crosses is due out on June 7. Stream the title track "White Crosses" below and you'll also find the full tour schedule.

Against Me! announce spring dates, play Raleigh

Florida rockers Against Me! are gearing up for a new tour that will kick off on April 11 in their hometown of Gainesville, FL. The tour will focus just on the south and will bring the group to The Brewery in Raleigh on April 15. The show is destined to be packed considering the band could easily play one of the bigger clubs in the area. Tickets are just $10 and are on sale now via etix.com. Off With Their Heads will open the show and the entire tour. Check out the entire tour schedule below.

Against Me! are still supporting their 2007 breakthrough album New Wave though they did release a collection of b-sides from the album last year exclusively via Amazon's MP3 service. Also, lead singer Tom Gabel did release a solo EP last year titled Heart Burns.

Against Me! and Ted Leo join forces

Against Me!, had one of the biggest breakthrough albums of 2007 and are now gearing up for a fall tour with Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. UK alt-punksters Future of the Left will open the entire tour and will fit right in.

Against Me! have been touring non-stop since the release of New Wave last July, including touring with Foo Fighters earlier this year and a performance at Bonnaroo in June. Ted Leo have spent the last year and a half supporting the album, Living With the Living, including opening for Pearl Jam on a few dates this year. Both bands have had exciting years and will undoubtedly put on a great tour this fall. The complete list of dates can be found below.

The month-long trek will include a stop at Greene Street in Greensboro. It's not quite the Triangle, but it's close. The Greene Street show is on October 7 and tickets are available for $17 via etix.com.
