There is big news this week for Charlotte-based alt-folk band Matrimony. They have signed a deal with Columbia Records, which will release the band's new album in 2013. They are currently recording with Jay Joyce. The band has released a music video for the song "Obey Your Guns," which will be on the new album. Check out the video below.
We caught a fantastic Matrimony set when they opened for Shovels and Rope at Local 506 in August 2011. Check out photos of the set HERE.
Matrimony will open for Passion Pit when they play a sold out show at Battleship Park in Wilmington on Friday, November 30.
