This week's free single, "Blind," comes from the Brooklyn group Hercules and Love Affair."Blind" is a beautifully dark dance song that shares sonic elements of The Cure, Morrissey and Depeche Mode. In other words, the song takes it's cues from bands from the UK.
The song has a great groove held down by the drums, bass and low synths. The trumpet provides a great hook during the vocal breaks. The vocals are very Morrissey-esque.
