Up and coming Wilmington rock band Mike Blair and The Stonewalls rolled into Durham for a show at the Broad Street Cafe on Friday night. The band played songs from their debut EP The Print as well as a bunch of songs that may end up on a forthcoming full-length the band plans to record this year. Check out some photos of the show below.

The band will return to the Triangle to play a free show at The Station with Sinful Savage Tigers on Thursday, April 12.

New Love Language dates, includes Durham & Raleigh

The new incarnation of The Love Language (with the new band members) have lined up some new shows ahead of the SXSW music conference in Austin, TX.

The very first show featuring the new line-up will be at Broad Street Cafe in Durham tomorrow night, March 12 with The Pneurotics, The Loners, The Travesties and D-Town Brass. The show is a benefit for Reese McHenry of The Dirty Little Heaters, who was slammed with a health insurance premium hike after surgery in December. The cover is just $5, though I'm sure a little extra won't be turned away.

Broad Street Cafe seeks petition signatures to keep music playing

Durham's Broad Street Cafe could use your help. In order to continue offering live music past 10 p.m., the venue needs to obtain a permit from the City of Durham.

In order to make their permit hearing next week go a little smoother, they are seeking petition signatures from their patrons.

Pipe and Dry Heathens playing Durham in August

Raucous and rowdy punks Pipe, fresh off of their immensely entertaining set at XX Merge last week, are gearing up for another show in the Triangle. They will play the Broad Street Cafe in Durham on Saturday, August 15. The show will start at 10pm and The Dry Heathens will open. Tickets are just $5.
