This is an awesome day for concert announcements in the Triangle. First Coldplay and now Kings of Leon. The Tennessee foursome will play Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre on April 28. It's hard to imagine hard partying band playing in Cary, but we're not complaining. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, February Kings of Leon are nominated for three Grammys for their album Only By the Night. Maybe they'll win one or maybe they'll get beat by Coldplay, Radiohead or one of the other nominees in their closely contested categories.
