The Milk Carton Kids announce new album 'Monterey,' fall tour

Stellar folk duo The Milk Carton Kids will release a new album on May 19 titled Monterey. They will hit the road this fall on a massive North American tour in support of it that will bring them back to the Triangle.

The Kids will play the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Sunday, September 13. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 1, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster for $27 to $79.48. The online pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. today, April 29.

The Milk Carton Kids announce summer tour, coming to Durham

California folk duo The Milk Carton Kids have extended their already hefty tour schedule into the summer with some new dates that will include a return to the Durham for a headlining show.

The group will headline the Carolina Theatre on Thursday, July 17. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 18 with a pre-sale to start on Wednesday, April 16. The group will also play two nights at the Hayti Heritage Center on April 11 and 12 with Joe Henry and Over the Rhine.
