A Prairie Home Companion announces 'Summer Love Tour'

Humorist, radio personality, storyteller and writer Garrison Keillor is hitting the road in late summer with former Nickel Creek singer and fiddle player Sara Watkins and The Guys All Star Shoe Band on tour with his beloved radio program A Prairie Home Companion. The tour has been dubbed the "Summer Love Tour" and will kick-off in Interlochen, MI on Aug. 10.

The second-to-last date of the tour is at Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Saturday, Sept. 11. Ticket info is not available yet, but we'll keep you posted.

The tour promises an evening of Prairie favorites including Guy Noir, Dusty and Lefty and the News from Lake Wobegon. During intermission, Keillor will also wander through the audience for a sing-along of “Unchained Melody” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.” It should be an interesting and entertaining evening.
